Hi Everyone!
Some of you may remember Robbie's passion for owls (and turkeys). I may give him a valentine with an owl theme this year. Here's the card I made yesterday.
The pattern for the owl came from www.scrapbooksetc.com There's a wonderful selection of free paper piecing patterns on that site. Here's the link for the pattern for the owl.
The branch I used is a chipboard branch from Maya Road that I painted with brown acrylic paint. I punched the hearts and covered them with red flocking powder. The text was stamped with a wooden stamp from Stampendous.
Have a great night!

"So Good" Challenge from 365 Cards
Hi Everyone!
And now I have a card for yesterday's "So Good Challenge" from 365 Cards. For this challenge participants were asked to "Just use the word "Good" as part of your sentiment, EXCEPT that you cannot say "goodbye". Other than that, anything goes".
Here's where the list of phrases that I have on my clear stamps came in handy once again. I scrolled through the list and found all of the phrases that had the word "good" in them. I was surprised to see how many I had, but ended up selecting the one I used on this card.
I got a little carried away with this card. I flicked water colors onto white tag to add color to my layering paper. The turtle is paper pieced. The lanterns were stamped with Hero Arts stamps and fussy cut. The presents are stickers.
Hope you have a "good" day!

"At This Moment" Challenge
Hi Everyone!
Last Friday's challenge from 365 Cards was called "At this Moment" and the specifics for the challenge were "As you're reading this post, think about where are you at this very moment, whether it's the exact place or an activity you did today, that should be the thing that inspires your card".
I glanced over at the cup of tea I was sipping...
and decided to create this card.
I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss my layering paper.
Hmm, I could use a cup of tea right now!

Itsy Bitsy Challenge from 365 Cards
Hi Everyone!
I love creating mini cards so I loved last Thursday's "Itsy Bitsy Challenge" from 365 Cards. For this challenge we were asked to "Make a teeny tiny card - less than 3" by 3" - otherwise the dimensions are up to you."
My teeny tiny card is a 2.75" square.
First I stamped the Hero Arts owls onto my card. Then I stamped them on some patterned paper from Memory Box and fussy cut them. "Love" was stamped with one of my favorite Denami Designs wooden stamps.
Who-oo!

365 Cards "Nautical" Challenge
Hi Everyone!
Last Wednesday's challenge from 365 Cards was to "create a card with a nautical theme".
Here's my card for that challenge.
The ships and text were created with A Muse Artstamps. I sponged painted the sky and ocean papers. The waves were cut from a Fiskars paper punch. The clouds were cut with dies from PaperTrey Ink.
Looks like it was a choppy day at sea!

I've Got it Covered Challenge
Hi Everyone!
Now I am going to share the card I created for the 365 Days "I've Got It Covered Challenge". For this challenge participants were asked to "cover the background with at least two different patterned papers, making sure they don't overlap."
I created this card for that challenge.
My layering papers are from Memory Box and K and Company. The ribbon is from American Crafts. That awesome chipboard cupcake sticker is from Momenta. The text was created with a wooden stamp from Stampabilities.
Hope you're having fun!

Color Scheme for 365 Cards
Hi Everyone!
Now I will share the card I created for 365 Cards "Color Scheme" Challenge. For this challenge participants were asked to use these colors on their card.
Here's my card.
I used a Martha Stewart punch to create my balloons and thin jewelry wire for the balloon strings. The text was created with a Judi Lynn wooden stamp.
