Tea cup cling stamp

Hi Everyone!

When I was a classroom teacher I often read my students the book It Looked Like Spilt Milk by Charles G. Shaw. A white shape in the illustrations changes over and over again. At the end of the story we learn that the shape was a cloud in the sky. As I played with my big cup cling stamp I thought of that story and that is what made me think of how to present today's post...

Sometimes it looked like a bushel basket filled with apples.

But, it wasn't a bushel basket filled with apples.

Sometimes it looked like a wrapper on a cupcake.
But, it wasn't a wrapper on a cupcake.

Sometimes it looked like a bowl of ice cream.

But, it wasn't a bowl of ice cream.

Sometimes it looked like a lampshade.

But, it wasn't a lampshade.

Sometimes it looked like a stack of dirty dishes.
But, it wasn't a stack of dirty dishes.

And sometimes it looked like a cup of tea
That was created with the big cup cling stamp from Hero Arts.

And this is only the beginning.

I am thinking I could make a basket of flowers for a "thank you" card, a laundry basket filled with baby clothes for a "Congratulations on your new baby" card, a colander filled with strawberries for a "thinking of you" card...

Now go back and study each of the photographs in this post. Remember if you click on an image, it will enlarge the image so that you can see it more clearly. You will see that I have used the big cup cling stamp over and over again to create each of the cards. Sometimes I have turned it upside down. Sometimes I have cut off the handle. Sometimes I have crimped the stamped image. I set up the challenge for myself and had a great time fulfilling that challenge.
