Sorry I haven't posted lately. My computer had to visit Staples for a few days. I cannot believe how dependent I have become on using a computer for so many parts of my life. I am not fully convinced that everything is working as it should, especially itunes, so I need to call the tech person and check with him. Hopefully, that's just a phone call and I'll get an explanation on what I should do.
Meanwhile, I'm back. I have a few cards to share with you today. This first one was created with a paper piecing pattern from Scrapbooks, ETC. Instead of using paper to create the dog, I used some felt for a change. The dog is backed on some paper from the DCWV Pets Stack. Although I have the 12" x 12" block as well as the small one, I only had the heart paper from the small block so the paper on the card is a little smaller than I would like it to be. I couldn't turn it sideways because the hearts would have been sideways too. Other than that I do like the felt dog.
This T-shirt card was created with a pattern from Paper For All Seasons which is a book I have mentioned in several of my posts. I found the sleeves part of the shirt to be a little challenging, but once I figured it out I was pleased with the card. I need to make more of them in the very near future just so I can imprint the process in my mind.
I used some of my stickers to create these baby girl cards. I used a Sizzix die to create the bathtub. Both cards are backed on paper from the Debbie Mumm for Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts Baby Girl small block. While I was looking for a link to that paper I found this really cool page that shows the paper being used to decorate some papercrafting organizers. Wouldn't you just love to have that cupboard in your papercrafting workspace? I know I would!
I think that cards with stickers on them are so easy to create that sometimes I feel "guilty' when I use them. I created the baby girl card with the elephant on it in about 10 minutes.

Like all of my other papercrafting supplies, my sticker collection has grown and continues to grow. Stickers are one of my few supplies that aren't organized. I am leaning towards storing them by theme in some stackable plastic containers. I think I will have all of the birthday stickers in one container and baby ones in another. But I am thinking that might require a lot of containers so I am not sure that's the best way to store them.

That dog card is adorable. Makes me think that perhaps Riley needs a similar collar/necklace!
The cupboard was cute. I especially liked the miniature trash can (would have been so handy for our Barbie dollhouses so long ago).

What about a binder with sheet protectors. Put the stickers in the protectors (am I using the correct word?). That way you can see the stickers and use whatever size binder you need. Just a thought.
