Before I post the card I made for Jeanne’s birthday, I need to give you a little background information. My mother sewed most of her own clothes, but she loved to buy shoes. I remember playing with them when I was a child. My daughter Marie and my sister Jeanne love to buy shoes. It’s fun to see the shoes that they find. Me? I choose to go barefoot whenever I can. I prefer to spend my money on papercrafting supplies!

These birthday cards were very quick and easy to create. The idea for them came from a book called The Big Book of Handmade Cards and Gift Wrap by Vivienne Bolton. I used AccuCut number dies to create the numbers for the card. I crimped each number before I attached it to a card. The "Look Who’s Turning" phrase was create
d with a stamp from the Bling 'Bers set from My Favorite Things. ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJCNPOU9gPxa6Tb3beUzcNXSRh2RYXSRWt8JwBlLhjbOqUO-ObMHVmc8KAAMU9xVo4GzABVwo5d5F0Si76ImEWbvAwT6Hg-g-LmWD0jPmShgPaRBJ9IP9RAkoKkUZR7k58rGsTtGPCOej7/s200/assted019.jpg)

Ha! I thought the numbers were made from old-time bulletin board border. :)
You are TOO funny and of course that would work too! Hope that everything is better for you. Talk to you soon. Carol
Love the little flowers and all the bling!
Hi, I have recently purchased a Sizzix Big Shot machine and am looking for a set of LARGE number dies to use with the Big Shot. I saw the numbers on your blog (AccuCut numbers). Where do you buy the dies from. Are they expensive? Can anyone recommend some large number dies, either in a set or individually. Greetings from Australia!
