Masculine Birthday Card

Hi Everyone!

This is my second post for today. This week’s One-Layer Wednesday Card Challenge is to create a masculine birthday card. I used an Accu-Cut T-shirt die to cut my one layer card. The text was stamped with a clear stamp from Hampton Art’s “Happy Birthday” clear stamp collection. The musical notes were stamped with a “Double Note” wooden stamp from Stampendous.

While I am thinking of it I want to share some organizational tips that work very well for me. I store my clear stamps in standard, not slim cd cases. The cd cases are stored in a cd storage holder in alphabetical order.

The order starts out as alphabets, baby, bicycle, birthday...That’s helpful to me, but here’s the most helpful part of what I have done. On my computer I created a file that lists the text content of each of the cd cases. So when I am trying to decide what text to put on a card I scroll through my file to see all of the messages I have and select the text that works the best for that card. This works another way too. Sometimes I scroll through the file to see the messages I have, select one and create a card that works with the text.

Have a great night!
Carol

Carol, your card is adorable. LOVE the shaped card, the "trim" you put on the t shirt, and the fun message!
