Hi Everyone!
I truly love checking out challenges each day before I start to create my cards. I cannot believe that I have pretty much ignored them until now. One of the things I love about paper crafting is the problem solving aspect of it. I sit here looking at my stamps, papers, embellishments, etc. and think of ways to use those products to make something that I enjoy creating, that pleases me when I finish creating it, and that makes others happy. The challenges I am now trying also involve problem solving along with the other aspects of paper crafting that I enjoy.
If you also enjoy problem solving and paper crafting or just need a little inspiration
be sure to visit my friend Shirley’s blog to see her amazing cards and the list of challenges she has posted.
This week Little Red Wagon is having an Itty Bitty Yellow Polka Dot Bikini Challenge. The creation can be itty bitty, yellow, polka dotted, or have a bikini.
Card Positioning Systems has a fun challenge based on this sketch.
I decided to create a card based on the CPS sketch that incorporated yellow and other polka dots. I had SO much fun.
Here’s my card.
The balloon and bird images are from the Hero Arts Wonderful Birthday clear stamp set. The polka dotted papers are from Memory Box.
Have a great night!
