Yesterday was a cold snowy Saturday. Robbie and Marie were at work and I was fighting off a bug so I was content to sit all day and work on some cards. Today I will be posting cards for a variety of challenges so grab a cup of tea and read on.
Last Sunday's (January 15) Super Sketchy Sunday Challenge, Day 321 at 365 Days was to use this sketch to create a card.
Challenging was the perfect word for this card. The instant I looked at the sketch I had an idea, but I didn't have a stamp that worked for that idea so I moved onto plan B. The sketch looks as if there could be 3 layers on the card so that's the route I took. Here's my card.
I sponge painted a sky for the top layer and the ocean for the middle layer. I used sand paper for my third layer. I turned the circle at the top of the card into the sun and the lines into the sun's rays. The text at the bottom of the card was created with tiny alphabet stickers.
Have a great day!
Carol
